The press info on the back of this photograph states "Two trams were damaged this afternoon in Cambridge (Heath) Road when one ran into another. The one that was smashed into had all the glass smashed and the other badly damaged in front. The drivers cabin had the floor boards forced up by the twisted steel. There were no injuries other than some passengers complaining of shock."
Photo shows the tram which was run into. Showing the smashed front.
E1 1154 was built in 1908 and withdrawn in June 1939. |

The tramcar behind 2114 is Class E 533 on service 3. 533 was built in February 1907 and withdrawn in February 1938. |
