Picture number 25149 25149 1/9/50 160 E3 New Cross. This car was built in 1931. It exchanged its trucks for E3 Maximum Traction trucks after its original trucks were taken for use on experimental car No. 1. Like HR2s 101 to 159 it had no trolley poles as these cars were designed for Hilly Routes (services 11 and 58) that were whollly on the conduit system. Car 160 was scrapped in April 1952 on Leyton E3 bogies.

Unfortunately the negative is badly overexposed and fogged.
Picture number 25152 25152 1857 HR2. Westminster This car was scrapped at Penhall Road in November 1952.
