This car was built in July 1910 as a Class M four wheel car and rebuilt as a bogie car in May 1932. The upper deck was rebuilt in October 1934 from a flat to a domed roof following a derailment whithin Streatham Depot. It derailed on the exit ramp catch point continued down the wall demolishing the top deck cover. In May 1936 the roof was completely rebuilt due to weaknesses and it was replaced by a one piece roof in plywood by the Tucker Armoured Plywood Co. with curved ends by CRD. |
