Cars 1764 and 1773 were the last two cars of the batch built just after the 1914/18 war (1727 to 1776) still in service without rehabilitation all the others having been scrapped or rehabilitated. These cars were awaiting scrapping after the abandonment of the Wandsworth area services on 30/09/1950.
