Picture number 26725 26725 28/4/1934 1373 E1. Charlton This car was built in 1909 and was rehabilitated in 1934. It was destroyed in the bombing of Abbey Wood depot in November 1940.
Unusually the legend on the side refers to it being a 'Type' E1 instead of 'Class' E1.
Picture number 26726 26726 2/5/1934 1832 E1. Clapham. On Motorman training duties this car is pictured negotiating the Clapham Loop (by Clapham South Station). This loop was provided to enable the easy turning of the trailor cars. This car was built in 1922 and scrapped at Penhall Road in January 1951.
